Our Story

It started with a
problem in class

"We were losing half the lecture trying to write everything down. So we built something that listens for you."

In 2023, Alexandru Danciu and Vlad Ionescu — two 18-year-old students from Colegiul National "Andrei Saguna" in Brasov — built Summise: an app that records classroom lectures and uses AI to generate personalized study notes for each student.

What started as a school project quickly turned into something bigger. We pitched Summise on Imperiul Leilor (Romania's version of Shark Tank on Pro TV) and walked away with €20,000 in funding for 15% equity.

Since then, we've been featured on I Like IT, Biz Brasov, Transilvania 365, and multiple national media outlets. Today, Summise SRL is building the future of education — and offering app development services to help other companies do the same.
